Golf Fitness Five in 5 Glutes

Five exercises in 5 minutes with the theme of the ‘Glutes’. All exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and require no equipment. The glutes (that’s your bum muscles) are some of the most important muscles (if not the most important muscle group) for golfers to train. The five exercises include:

  1. Glute Bridge
  2. Side bridge with leg raise
  3. Donkey kicks
  4. Lateral lunges
  5. Squats

These are all basic glute strengthening/activation exercises to try at home or in the gym. These can be performed as part of a longer workout or as a quick bit of exercise on their own. For example, complete one round during the ad breaks whilst watching the golf on TV.
