Here’s a YouTube video showing some of Nike’s Tour Pro’s in the gym, including Tiger. It gives you a snapshot of what is takes to be a golf athlete. All of them showing that lifting heavy weights and training to improve strength is essential for optimal performance in golf (summed up by Tiger in the first scene).
The video includes some great compound exercises, until it comes to Anthony Kim, who must be on his ”Arms and Abs Day”?! Probably not the best use of time in the gym for a golfer, but maybe it shows that a few curls aren’t going to hurt your golf swing.
